About The Position

We’re looking for an Associate Product Manager to be the operational backbone of Sunday’s 2026 Founding Family Program. The Founding Family Program is an early-adopter beta where families try Memo’s first suite of skills in their homes and help shape what we build next. You’ll work directly with the Head of Product (and the Senior PM - Founding Family Program Lead once hired) to execute across every aspect of launching Memo into real homes, including participant selection, deployment coordination, feedback collection, and process building. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role where you’ll get broad exposure to what it takes to launch a new product category. You’ll touch user research, logistics, metrics, and storytelling, and you’ll be essential to making the program successful. Think of this as a “Chief of Staff” role for the Founding Family Program, with room to grow into product leadership.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in product management, operations, program management, consulting, or a similarly cross-functional role
  • Operational excellence — you're highly organized, detail-oriented, and know how to keep complex projects on track
  • Scrappiness and resourcefulness — you're comfortable figuring things out on the fly and don't need perfect instructions to get started
  • Strong communication skills — you can talk to beta participants, coordinate with internal teams, and synthesize insights clearly in writing
  • User empathy — you genuinely care about understanding how people think and what they need
  • Flexibility and adaptability — you're excited (not overwhelmed) by ambiguity and changing priorities
  • Bias toward action — you'd rather ship something and iterate than wait for perfect information
  • Comfort working with senior leadership — you can hold your own in discussions with experienced leaders and contribute meaningfully

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with hardware products, beta programs, or pilot launches
  • Background in operations, program management, or bizops
  • Consumer research or user interview experience
  • Early-stage startup experience

Responsibilities

  • Set clear participant expectations: Help ensure families have a great experience by setting expectations around privacy and data practices, time commitment, and lightweight feedback rituals.
  • Select and onboard founding families: Review applications, conduct screening calls, and work with the Head of Product to identify and onboard the right early adopters.
  • Run program operations: Own participant onboarding logistics, track deployment schedules, maintain program documentation, and keep all the operational pieces running smoothly
  • Coordinate deployment logistics: Partner with the Field Ops & Logistics Manager to ensure robots get into homes on time and stay running
  • Gather and synthesize user feedback: Conduct user interviews, observe user behavior, organize feedback from beta participants, and help translate messy real-world insights into clear product recommendations
  • Build program infrastructure: Create workflows, templates, tracking systems, and processes to scale the Founding Family Program efficiently
  • Support product scoping: Contribute to user research and requirements gathering. What should Memo do in its first homes? How should Memo move and communicate? Your research will help answer these questions, and help the team iterate fast.
  • Track metrics and report progress: Own a simple scorecard that shows program health, participant satisfaction, safety and incident trends, and what the team is learning.
  • Be the flexible problem-solver: Jump in wherever needed. Launching robots into homes throws curveballs, and you’ll help the team adapt quickly.
  • Work closely with leadership: This role involves frequent collaboration with the Head of Product and Senior PM. You'll have high visibility and direct impact on key decisions.

Benefits

  • You’ll be instrumental in launching one of the most ambitious robotics programs in recent history. We’re building Memo, a helpful home robot, and bringing it into real homes in late 2026.
  • This role offers exceptional learning opportunities. You’ll work directly with the Head of Product and Senior PM - Founding Family Program Lead, get exposure to robotics, AI, operations, and user research, and play a critical role in shaping how helpful robotics enters the home. Many of Sunday’s future product leaders will come from this program.
