As an Associate Power Marketer, you will help manage real-time energy trading activities that optimize power generation and support reliable energy delivery. You will work in fast-paced energy markets, analyzing supply, demand, and pricing to make informed decisions that impact system reliability and financial performance. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, finance, or related field; equivalent experience
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to make decisions using data in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills for working with internal teams and external partners
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a real-time operational setting

Responsibilities

  • Monitor real-time energy markets to identify opportunities to buy, sell, or balance power
  • Support hourly trading activities, including transaction execution and system balancing
  • Analyze market conditions such as price, load forecasts, and transmission constraints
  • Coordinate with system operators to ensure reliable and efficient generation dispatch
  • Assist with scheduling transactions, securing transmission, and maintaining accurate records
  • Build relationships with internal teams and external market participants
