Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) for our National Branch Network as part of the Consumer, Small & Business Banking division. This role involves participating in the delivery of an exceptional customer experience by building relationships through proactive outreach and proposing appropriate products, services, and digital solutions to help customers succeed financially. The Associate Personal Banker will assist customers with basic requests such as opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications. They will receive direction from managers and exercise judgment within defined policies and procedures, developing an understanding of bank products and services to connect with customers' needs. The position requires interacting with customers to demonstrate care, build relationships, and provide appropriate options for bank products and services, referring financial needs to other bankers and partners as needed. This SAFE position includes customer contact and duties that may involve offering/negotiating terms and/or taking applications for dwelling secured transactions, requiring compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and related regulations. Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements, including acceptable background investigation results. Individuals in a SAFE position also must meet the Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z (LO).
