About The Position

The Associate People Business Partner reports into the Principal People Business Partner and supports the broader People Business Partner team to deliver high-quality support across assigned business units. This role supports employees and managers from individual contributor through managers, providing day-to-day HR guidance. This person will recommend, develop, and implement new HR processes as required to grow the business across core people processes, employee relations, and manager effectiveness. This role will also collaborate with People Operations and Centers of Excellence to support HRIS reporting, ensure operational continuity, and contribute to talent and leadership development initiatives. This role plays a key part in building scalable people practices while supporting internal leadership growth and a strong employee experience.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a People team role, could include HR generalist or people operations. Ideally in a fast-paced high growth SaaS company.
  • Strong foundation of HR processes and understanding of how to balance employee advocacy with business needs.
  • Hands on experience with HRIS platforms, understanding how they work, how to pull reporting, and an overall desire to learn more about them.
  • You have a strong ability to multi-task and project manage. You take pride in accuracy and dependability.
  • Adaptable and ability to stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Support individual contributors through managers within assigned business units, partnering closely with the Principal PBP and PBP team to deliver day-to-day HR guidance across employee relations, performance management, manager coaching, and core people processes.
  • Partner with HR Operations to learn and execute basic HRIS reporting, providing coverage and backup support to ensure continuity of core people data and reporting needs.
  • Design and deliver programming to identify, develop, and ramp emerging leaders from within the organization, partnering with PBPs and business leaders to support internal talent pipelines and leadership readiness.
  • Support People team initiatives focused on employee engagement, culture and development. This could include organizing trainings, distributing and writing communications, etc.
  • Assists with administering onboarding for new employees
  • Personnel changes – administering the behind the scenes work, investigate org design, partner with the Total Rewards team for compensation modeling, etc.
  • Create, document, and maintain clear and up-to-date Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and how-to guides, ensuring smooth team operations and consistent process execution.
