YOU As an Associate Packer, you will be responsible for packing products in a timely manner consistent with the department’s safety, quality, and production goals. This position reports directly to the Department Manager and is supported by the department’s Team Lead(s). This position works 2nd Shift: Monday through Thursday 3:00pm – 1:30am with overtime as needed. This shift is eligible for a $1.00 shift differential.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
  • Attendance: able to consistently demonstrate reliable, punctual attendance.
  • Speaking: able to effectively communicate in group settings and one-on-one, with all departments and at all levels within the organization. Effectively communicate between shifts to ensure departmental goals are achieved.
  • Measurements: able to read a tape measure to 1/32” tolerance and to use combination squares to measure angles to +/- 1 degree, micrometers, calipers.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the packing schedule is followed to satisfy the needs of our customers. Ensure the quality of product meets Company and industry standards. (90%)
  • Ensure that all quality issues are directly reported to the department lead. (5%)
  • Ensure that the immediate work area remains clean to avoid any safety related issues. (5%)
