About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate or Mid-Level Product Acceptance Specialist in San Antonio, TX Applicants must be available to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift. Position Responsibilities: Level B Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements. Provides objective evidence of results. Performs auditing, surveillance and monitoring. Identifies and documents discrepancies. Segregates and controls non-conforming items. Perform preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance. Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification. Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action. Level C Verifies product conformance to design requirements. Provides objective evidence of results. Validates work instructions, tooling requirements, certifications, process standards, policies and procedures. Identifies and documents discrepancies and segregates and controls non-conforming items. Perform preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance. Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification. Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience working with and supporting Quality Management System (QMS)
  • 1+ years of experience interpreting manufacturing blueprints
  • 1+ years of experience in quality inspection and/or auditing
  • 1+ years of experience working with Non-conformance (NCR) processes
  • Must have analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
  • An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
  • This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree or higher
  • 1+ years of knowledge with technical experience in an aerospace environment
  • 3+ years of experience working in teams/work groups
  • Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in military aviation
  • 1+ year of experience supporting military aviation life support programs, preferably with F-15, F-18, and or similar platforms
