About The Position

Product Acceptance Specialist Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Experienced Product Acceptance Specialist – Customer Coordinator (Level C) to support the Quality Team based out of North Charleston, South Carolina on 1st shift. Requirements

  • 5+ years of Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience.
  • 1+ years of quality experience.
  • Must be able to work weekends and overtime.
  • Ability to obtain Confined Space and Fall Protection training and certifications.
  • This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • 3+ years of experience working with Velocity, REDARS, and Supplier Documents.
  • 3+ years of experience with the following types of hand tools (calipers, digital optical micrometers, depth gages, thread gages, go no go gages, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Verifies product conformance to design requirements
  • Provides objective evidence of results
  • Validates work instructions, tooling requirements, certifications, process standards, policies and procedures
  • Identifies and documents discrepancies and segregates and controls non-conforming items
  • Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance
  • Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification
  • Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action.
