About The Position

The Boeing Company is seeking an Associate (Level 2) or Experienced (Level 3) Numerical Control Programmer – Numerical Control Quality Assurance (NCQA) to join the team on site in Puyallup, WA. Primary responsibilities: Provides numerical control, machining and programming technical experience. Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility. Plans, creates, verifies and revises Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry and documentation that directs the operations for a complete spectrum of numerically controlled equipment required to manufacture and inspect parts, tools and assemblies for departmental work. Plans and guides the development and integration of new machining techniques and manufacturing methods, processes, software and equipment. Works under general direction.

Requirements

  • Level 2: 2+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Level 3: 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with Numerical Control Programming for metrology devices such as CMM, ARM, Laser Tracker, or light scanning devices, using CAD-based metrology software.
  • Extensive experience using PC-DMIS.
  • Experience using CATIA V5, Spatial Analyzer, Scripting, DMIS code.
  • Experience in Quality inspection role.
  • Experience using analog inspection equipment, i.e. height gauge, micrometers, calipers, etc.
  • Complete ability to plan, create, validate, and document source geometry for generation of Machine Control Data (MCD).
  • Experience interpreting GD&T and can apply the concepts for part inspection.
  • Experience working with 3D modeling for dimensional measurements.
  • Computing knowledge, basic operation, Microsoft office products.
