About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking an Associate , Mid-Level, or Senior Numerical Control Programmer to join our team in North Charleston, South Carolina. Primary Responsibilities: Develop, revise and verify 3 and 5 axis Machine Control Data (MCD) and geometry for primarily composite detail parts and assemblies, with some foam and aluminum. Provide machine operator instructions and documentation for automated or numerically controlled equipment per established processes Assist in numerous tasks related to numerical controlled manufacturing, including working as part of a team with Process Engineers, NC Programmers, Manufacturing Engineers, Equipment & Tool Engineering, equipment suppliers, Design Engineers, Boeing Research & Technology Engineers, Quality Engineers, Information Technology, Industrial Engineers and operations personnel Provides numerical control, machining and programming technical experience. Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility. Ability to travel domestically to Everett, WA This position is for first shift and 100% onsite

Requirements

  • Associates degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
  • 3+ years’ experience in Engineering and Manufacturing environment
  • Experience in model integration using REDARS, CATIA V5, ENOVIA, and/or PSDS

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with airplane interior products designed and produced at the Interior Responsibility Center (IRC)
  • Some knowledge or experience with MasterCam and/or Vericut
  • Familiar with Visual Basic, Microsoft Excel Macros, or other scripting programs

  • Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
  • Associate Level: $83,300 - $112,700
  • Mid-Level: $100,300 - $135,700
  • Senior Level: $120,700 - $163,300
  • This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
