About The Position

The Associate Operations Manager provides first-class support services for our national property management team. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing operational support to internal and third party management teams and supporting our asset management team. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from an accredited four-year college or university preferred.
  • A minimum of five years real estate operations support experience required.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented assistant with ability to effectively multitask.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to foster strong relationships.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, TEAMS)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Yardi Elevate preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Director and Associate Director of Operations in leading a cohesive, national property management team, including planning and coordinating team events.
  • Assist in managing day-to-day operations to ensure smooth and efficient business functions.
  • Support project execution, timelines, and coordination across multiple teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Assist in onboarding and training new team members in operational procedures and best practices.
  • Identify operational issues and recommend solutions to ensure minimal disruption to business processes.
  • Assist in testing and implementing new technologies and processes.
  • Provide support in maintaining process and training documentation and invoice coding.
  • Assist with processing, qualifying, establishing, and maintaining vendor relationships and contracts.
  • Work with GID vendor management team to maintain compliance of strategic, national vendors partners.
  • Provide support to ensure effective management utility accounts, as needed.
  • From time to time, provide support to the market property management team by fielding tenant inquiries, issuing purchase orders, writing contracts, and coding invoices.
  • Ensure that all GID policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to.
  • Other assigned duties, as needed.
