About The Position

The Operations Consulting Group (“OCG”) is a team that provides operational support, on a rotational basis, across Lone Pine’s business teams. The Associate, Operations Consulting Group, Technology, will rotate within the IT team assisting departments such as legal & compliance, fund accounting, management company accounting, tax, financial reporting, technology, human resources, valuation, business development, and investor relations in an IT capacity. This individual will report into the Manager of the Operations Consulting Group and the CTO/CISO, Managing Director, Technology. The OCG team collectively reports to the Managing Director, Human Resources & Facilities and the Manager, Human Resources & Facilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with a major in Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field, and a minor in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
  • Entry-level role is intended for students graduating in 2026
  • Strong technical aptitude, including comfort working across systems and data sets
  • Working knowledge of AI tools and platforms, with the ability to apply them effectively in day-to-day workflows
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages with demonstrated experience applying coding skills to solve technical problems or automate workflows
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex information, synthesize findings, and support informed decision-making
  • Stellar written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and professionally
  • Self-motivated, intellectually curious, and eager to learn
  • Ability to exercise discretion, particularly in dealing with confidential matters/materials
  • Team-oriented mindset with a demonstrated interest and ability to contribute meaningfully and collaboratively with others, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently
  • Strong work ethic and high level of professionalism and integrity

Responsibilities

  • The Associate role operates in a rotational, project-based model, with rotations lasting for an assigned period of time ranging from several weeks to six months.
  • Rotations will be with other business units focused on IT needs while being located with the Tech team.
  • The Associate will contribute to broader departmental priorities that require judgement, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • The Associate will continue to move through various department areas on a rotating basis throughout the year, based on technology needs, requiring the ability to adapt quickly to new subject matters and environments, delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
