About The Position

The New Verticals team is building the future of local commerce through expanding our product offerings on our marketplace platform. We launched New Verticals in 2020 and have since built a world-class delivery platform enabling delivery across Grocery, Convenience, Alcohol, and Retail third party partners and through our home grown DashMart business. Our Strategy & Operations team has their footprint on everything from merchant strategy to consumer experience to dasher experience and beyond! We are hiring a cohort of four Associate level employees to join our New Verticals Strategy & Operations team to focus on our highest priority initiatives at any given time. This means - you might work on growth for a few months then pivot to a supply chain role or spend some time working on logistics challenges. The sky’s the limit in this role - you will gain exposure to company wide initiatives and high priority sprints, across multiple verticals while making a big and quick impact. You’ll gain a breadth of experiences across Grocery, Convenience, Alcohol and DashMart. You will move daily metrics, run a/b tests, launch new initiatives and so much more while working cross-functionally with product, engineering, finance and other folks on strategy & operations. You’ll be an individual contributor. We operate in a hybrid and spend a few days a month in person together! You must currently be based in New York or San Francisco. This role does not offer relocation and is not open to fully remote employees. We will be conducting batch interviews so please submit your application by Friday 1/30/2026.

  • You have 1-2+ years of experience. You’ve succeeded in similar cultures that are highly analytical and cross-functional (whether in marketplaces, logistics, tech, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, or a related experience).

  • You’re analytical. You let data win arguments, and you’re comfortable pulling your own data in SQL and building models in excel.
  • You’re adaptable. You are constantly chasing new tools and ways to become more efficient and know where, when and how to use AI.
  • You have a completed Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or relevant field.

Responsibilities

  • Operate. Stand up 0→1 pilots, build dashboards, manage week-over-week KPIs and turn wins into scalable processes.
  • Launch. You may launch net-new merchants, experiment new initiatives and run in market tests.
  • Analyze. Build models using Excel and SQL to evaluate expansion opportunities and prioritize the next bets.
  • Build. Translate consumer, merchant and dasher needs into product requirements, operational improvements and tangible outcomes
