About The Position

The Boeing Company Boeing Defense & Space (BDS) is seeking an Associate Metals and Assembly Technical Analyst to join their team in the greater St. Louis area in Berkeley, Missouri. This individual will be working on the assembly team supporting the 777X program, collaborating closely with the production team to support daily operations. This position is expected to be 100% onsite, requiring the selected candidate to work at the listed location. Additionally, this role requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, for which U.S. Citizenship is a prerequisite. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post-Start is required.

Requirements

  • Experience as an Analyst
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post-Start is required.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with definition of requirements for tools, equipment, materials, parts and processes used in the engineering design, manufacture and/or maintenance of Boeing products
  • Provides knowledge and technical consultation to internal and external customers
  • Evaluates parts, materials, processes, technology or equipment through research and testing to ensure safety, reliability and adherence to requirements and specifications
  • Proposes, develops and validates revisions to procedures, engineering specifications and other documents to manage the deployment of tools, equipment, materials, parts, and processes
  • Assists with development and qualification of new tools, equipment, materials, parts and processes to meet requirements
  • Conducts routine analysis to determine performance or reasons for failures of tools, materials, parts or processes
  • Assists in implementing corrective and preventive actions
  • Determines suitability of parts, materials and processes and coordinates resolution of issues with suppliers and customers
  • Uses project management tools to meet cost, technical, and schedule requirements
  • Incorporates environmental health and safety, LEAN and Quality principles into (1) materials and processes, (2) research, design and qualification, (3) work procedures and (4) labs and office areas.
