About The Position

As part of the Athletic Training/Medical Department, the Associate Minor League Athletic Trainer supports the prevention, care, treatment, and rehabilitation, under the supervision of a certified/licensed Athletic Trainer, for all athletic injuries and illnesses incurred by Milwaukee Brewer Minor League players. Informs Minor League Head Athletic Trainer, Strength & Conditioning Specialist, Field Manager, and Coaches daily of all injuries and medical conditions of all players. Within the medical department, you will assume the responsibility of overseeing athletes allocated to your designated affiliate. We emphasize an athlete-centric methodology, achieved through collaborative efforts, to deliver the highest quality care to each assigned athlete. Our approach involves meticulous monitoring of athletes' health and status throughout the season, employing performance metrics. Furthermore, we administer preventive measures, treatments, and rehabilitation procedures, all under the careful supervision of the head athletic trainer. Nice To Haves

  • Prior baseball experience at the professional level.
  • Bi-lingual candidates with the ability to speak Spanish are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Complete all treatment and individual rehabs before workouts and games.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical information and medical files on players and staff in the MLB Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
  • Be present at all workouts and games through the championship season.
