JOB DUTIES Broadly applies principles, theories and concepts related to the profession. A seasoned, experienced professional with an in-depth/full understanding of area of specialization. May provide recommendations regarding issues outside the bounds of defined procedures and practices. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Wide latitude for decisions within assignments, programs and projects; impact is generally limited to the project or department. Acts as a resource to advise, and may at times a lead the work of lower level professional and/or support employees. Generally represents the department on projects and may perform in a project leadership role. ADDITIONAL JOB DUTIES Level 1 Participates in supporting and facilitating market stakeholder meetings including setting and coordinating meeting schedules, developing and distributing agendas, gathering and posting relevant materials, and liaising with facility personnel to ensure logistical readiness. Additionally, contributes to the preparation of accurate and timely meeting minutes, provides guidance on meeting decorum, and performs parliamentarian-related duties as needed. On an annual basis, participates in running stakeholder elections to seat members on various stakeholder committees and subcommittees. Serves as a resource to Market Participants and collaborates with internal ERCOT departments by offering direction and expertise on all stakeholder meeting processes and requirements. Maintains and supports business policies and processes consistent with PUCT rulings and Board mandates Facilitates market stakeholder meetings Coordinates and works collaboratively with ERCOT staff in providing transparency into the proceedings of market stakeholder meetings Acts as the ERCOT liaison with stakeholder committees, subcommittees, working groups, and task forces in relation to meeting logistics Develops and maintains strong working relationships with staff and market participants, especially in the administration of stakeholder meetings Develops and maintains working knowledge of operations needed to support external and internal business needs Administers internal policies, procedures, and workflows for the assigned Market Rules and Stakeholder Support groups Develops and maintains strong knowledge of business procedures and rules Participates in appropriate training to maintain current professional or functional skills and develop new skills, as required Supports working groups and taskforces through compiling materials for meeting consideration Escalates issues to leadership team in an appropriate manner The foregoing description reflects the minimum qualifications and the essential functions of the position that must be performed proficiently with or without reasonable accommodation for individuals with disabilities. Requirements

  • No minimum work experience required
  • Bachelor's Degree : Business Administration, Communications, Engineering or related discipline (Required) or a combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge to a major in such fields is required
