This role serves as a key coordinator for donor engagement efforts, ensuring communications, stewardship, and events are delivered with accuracy, timeliness, and impact. The University of New Mexico Foundation seeks applications for the Associate Managing Director of Donor Engagement. This role leads the execution of donor engagement initiatives, including but not limited to communications and stewardship activities, ensuring alignment with established strategies and timely delivery.

Requirements

Strong project management skills
Strong organization skills
Strong communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Bachelor’s Degree or higher, with a major in public relations, communications, or closely related field
Four years of professional experience with a fundraising or non-profit organization

Responsibilities

Lead the execution of donor engagement initiatives, including but not limited to communications and stewardship activities, ensuring alignment with established strategies and timely delivery
Manage project timelines and workflows
Coordinate with internal and campus partners
Support donor cultivation and stewardship efforts
Supervise junior staff
Monitor deliverables
Resolve day-to-day operational issues
Escalate more complex matters as needed
