Position Summary We are seeking a high-energy Associate Manager Strategic Accounts to join the U.S. Pharmacist team. This is a junior-level position ideal for a motivated professional with 1–2 years of experience. The Sales Associate will be responsible for selling USP products and services, generating new business leads, and maintaining relationships with existing accounts. While this role involves general sales responsibilities, a strong background or understanding of digital advertising sales or buying is required. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment and be ready to travel for industry events and client interactions.

Requirements

  • Experience: 1–2 years of experience in sales or media buying.
  • Digital Expertise: Demonstrated experience in digital advertising sales or buying.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent11.
  • Travel: Ability to travel to pharmacy conferences, client meetings, and internal sales meetings.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Drive: Goal-oriented team player with high energy and a solid work ethic.
  • Agility: Ability to multi-task and thrive in a virtual, dynamic, and fast-paced environment.
  • Organization: Strong time management and administrative skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional team members.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in pharmaceutical or medical advertising sales/media.
  • Previous exposure to healthcare publishing or HCP media planning.

Responsibilities

  • Sales & Business Development: Assist in developing sales revenue to meet assigned targets. Identify new sales targets, research the market to find new segments, and present U.S. Pharmacist products and services to potential clients.
  • Digital Focus: Leverage digital advertising sales or media buying experience to sell electronic format programs and digital solutions.
  • Account Management: Provide ongoing support and outstanding customer service to assigned accounts. Manage relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and generate renewal business.
  • Conferences & Travel: Assist with the planning of sales exhibits and travel to pharmacy conferences, client meetings, and internal sales meetings.
  • Proposals & Strategy: Develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and work with internal resources to develop presentation materials.
  • Account Coordination & Workflow: Monitor, track, and report on leads and renewals. Maintain competency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications for reporting and presentations.
