About The Position

This role will be a critical part of Sazerac's global communications team and will act as gate keeper and liaison between our brands and their audiences via social media platforms, such as TikTok, X, IG, FB, YouTube and other communication platforms. She/He/They will lead on crafting influencer strategies across priority brands and will oversee all elements of program implementation and execution, including measurement/reporting. In addition, this role will lead in creating compelling social content for priority brands, directing photo shoots, editing video, scheduling posts, developing and analyzing reports to identify key insights for future action, conducting social media listening, channel engagement, community management, as well as mentorship and oversight of junior team members and interns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant social media experience.
  • Knowledge and experience using social media platforms (TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X).
  • Excellent critical thinking skills, initiative, attention to detail and creativity.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
  • A creative team player who is a natural communicator with an entrepreneurial spirit, and strong writing editing skills.
  • Flexibility in respect to the unexpected demands and needs of social media.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills.
  • High level of creativity and experience in creative development.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Expertise using tools to measure social media ROI and create reporting (Sprinklr, Sprout, Tagger, etc.).
  • A trend-savvy cultural connector who is deeply embedded into the cultural zeitgeist.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, with working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, and Adobe Illustrator.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Social Media Strategy and Engagement Manager to clearly define social media strategy for brands, including tone of voice.
  • Proactively monitor news cycle and social media channels for trends and opportunities relevant to our brands.
  • Lead creation of social-first content for owned channels, including concepting and creating posts, directing social-first shoots, editing video or photos.
  • Plan, manage, and create engaging content across various Sazerac social media channels.
  • Lead ideation, conceptualization, development and implementation of influencer and social strategy content across priority brands.
  • Oversee agencies when appropriate.
  • Lead real-time reporting for social and influencer plans and activations.
  • Partner with paid media team to strategically leverage owned social and influencer assets for paid advertising plans.
  • Establish well organized priorities for yourself and ensure project team members understand their roles.
