About The Position

The Jefferson Road Operations Center has a need for an Associate Manager of Operations Management. This person will be responsible for managing two or more of the following activities related to operations manufacturing, production planning, material planning, manufacturing engineering, test, quality or shipping/receiving/stores.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum 6 years prior relevant experience.
Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

Nice To Haves

2+ years of experience with various databases (Oracle, Fusion, Agile and Microsoft Office)
Strong interpersonal skills
Test and assembly process knowledge in a new product environment

Responsibilities

Supervise a direct labor work force of technicians and operators in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Maintain consistent shop floor presence – maintain an orderly, disciplined, fair, and positive work environment for all employees.
Lead team towards common goals – ensure customer satisfaction and meet performance expectations for the department.
Effectively communicate with direct reports – policies, performance expectations, strategic improvements, etc.
Effectively engage support functions – day to day issues and strategic improvements.
Effectively develop work force – recognizing high performers and coaching low performers.
Ability to obtain US Government clearance.
