About The Position

We're looking for someone to help scale DoorDash's next billion dollar business, DashMart. The DashMart team is focused on building a new type of grocery store, offering household essentials, groceries and local restaurant favorites to our customers' doorsteps. We are hiring an Associate Manager to join the DashMart Strategy & Operations organization, focused on strategic profitability projects and analysis. In this role you will lead product-driven programs designed to improve profitability, liaise with Accounting partners on processes such as Procure to Pay, and will be goaled against a key profitability metric. You will play a critical role in helping us achieve high levels of efficiency and cost reduction across the DashMart business. You will work cross-functionally, partnering closely with accounting & AP, vendor managers, product and engineering teams, finance partners, and more. We operate in a hybrid work model with opportunities for in-person collaboration a few times a year, and all our offices are open should you choose to go in on a more regular basis! You will report into a Manager within the Supply Chain org of the DashMart team. You're excited about this opportunity because you will… Build. This means everything from high-level strategy to minute operational details. Strategize. From fundamentals, you'll develop the strategy for best serving our customers. Analyze. You'll assess the operational and financial impacts of your decisions, and iterate based on data. Lead. You'll work with multiple teams, including engineering, product, design, operations, finance, and marketing to build this new line of business for DoorDash.

Requirements

  • You're excited to be creative on how you work through problems.
  • You don't hesitate to get in the weeds and operate at the lowest level of detail, but you're as comfortable thinking long-term.
  • You're unafraid of undefined processes. You are passionate about defining and carving out scope and processes. You excel at working with a diverse group of people.
  • You love data. You let data win arguments, and you're comfortable modeling in Excel and SQL (can perform complex functions), and have experience using data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Sigma, etc.). Proficiency in SQL is required.
  • You have 5+ years of experience. You've succeeded at expanding businesses (whether in tech, retail, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, or a related experience).
  • You have completed your BS/BA Degree.
