Position Description, Functions, Duties and Tasks: R&OP Process (Requirements and Operations Planning) Production plan approval Demand planning Capacity requirements planning Packaging schedule OTIF (On time in full) Critical material issues Upcoming projects Action item review Distribution of meeting notes and action items Tank Farm Scheduling Primary contact for the tank farm scheduling and supplier relations Schedule via Aspen Explorer Collaborate with manufacturing regarding inventories, schedules and related issues as appropriate Schedule material deliveries to ensure materials are received as per production requirements/forecasts Adjust tank levels on a monthly basis External Sourcing/Supply Management Manage production plan to forecast out materials, i.e., planned delivery times, lab times. Place purchase requisitions for all materials. Ensure reliable supply from external suppliers/vendors to include: Raw Materials. Pre-printed packaging materials (PPM). Syringe Components. Operating Supplies. Gaylord Boxes (shipping containers). Work with suppliers regarding project related activities. Component Planning Track actuals versus forecast. Assist in the performance of due diligence for new component vendors as appropriate. Inventory Management Ensure all materials are managed and maintained within Good Manufacturing Practices. Collaborate with TS/MS, Quality and Manufacturing on decisions around material qualifications. Work with quality regarding master data updates with regards to Supply Chain/Planning fields. Collaborate with vendors to develop & communicate short-to-long term plans & ensure that said plans meet and/or exceed site production volumes. Change Control Process Initiate change controls related to Supply Chain activities. Conduct assessments for change controls regarding Supply Chain launch and planning. SOP updates and training. Deviation Investigations Work with suppliers regarding deviations that occur with materials. Other Responsibilities Following up with the HQ regarding PO’s and inventory levels required to make sure the B.U. performs properly. Conduct additional designated activities as assigned by the Supply Chain Managers, or other departments. Minimum Qualification (Education, Experience and/or Training, Required Certifications): Education: 4 years Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent work experience) Experience: Procurement and/or customer service experience specifically related to product/supply management processes at a manufacturing site. Working between departments, like operations, warehouse, regulatory, sales, customer service, but not limited. SAP 5 or more years dealing with customers or suppliers, and/or commercial issues. 5 or more years of Order/PO management and follow-up. Required Skills: Must be able to multi-task effectively. Demonstrated ability to influence others Self motivated with ability to react quickly to changing requirements and processes. Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple activities. Demonstrated problem solving techniques – Troubleshooting. Must have a proven ability to build strong working relationships without the benefit of face-to-face interactions. Must be able to relate professionally to customers, manufacturing personnel and outside vendors. Additional Preferences: Fluent in Portuguese is strongly preferred Masster’s degree or M.B.A. International business experience, including knowledge of Brazil-American business culture.
