About The Position

The Dove CMI Deo Associate Manager partners with the Dove innovation and engagement team based in the US, closely supporting the Dove Deo managers, associates and directors. In the Deodorant vertical, this role also partners closely with Demand Generation CMI and Performance CMI. • Partner with stakeholders to align all research projects to the strategic priorities of the NA Dove Deo team and communicate actionable insights shaping innovation and all consumer-facing communication. • Translate internal briefs and questions into analytical qualitative and quantitative projects, including refining the initial ask and asking the ‘right questions,’ working through potential hypotheses to leverage the right methods for key crafting development, optimization and decisions. • Independently lead a range of crafting methods including qualitative, quantitative, social listening and agile methods, plus weaving brand equity, panel and point of sale data to paint a full picture for insights inspiration of innovation, communication and strategy development. • Help develop insights to drive short- and long-term strategies that help Dove achieve business goals and contribute to the brand’s ambitious growth plan • Leverage analysis and understanding of growing Dove’s brand equity and how it can lead to competitive growth • Blend relevant macro and category trends, cultural and human trends together with social trends to inspire innovation development that create growth specifically for North America. • Utilize foundational strategic understanding such as category growth drivers, early signals, H&A for North America to ensure innovation plans align with the future of the category • Work closely with the rest of PC CMI and both design and deploy Marketing to create the social transformation for Dove Deo in North America • Drive greater consumer connectivity and ‘deep, rich, emotional’ insights work to inspire stronger consumer engagement through innovation and marketing activities • Support engaging programs that build the “consumer gut” of marketing teams • Develop strong relationships across design marketing, R&D, CTI, creative agency, MMC, deploy/engagement marketing and performance in order to truly put the consumer voice at the heart of everything Dove does What you’ll need to succeed • You’re a born leader: You will need to lead from the front at times and from behind at others. You can design learning across deodorant-specific needs (efficacy, sensorial/fragrance, skin comfort, residue/marks), and you are comfortable with innovation and claims learning such as HUT/CLT, concept/copy testing, and agile digital approaches.. • You bring rigor to claims and communication: You know how to pressure-test RTBs and claims language (without over-claiming), and you partner effectively with R&D/legal partners to ensure consumer understanding and credibility. • You are commercially curious about the deodorant aisle: You connect consumer understanding to shopper behavior and channel realities (mass, club, drug and e-comm), track competitive moves, and translate learning into clear actions for portfolio, price/pack and activation.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated high performance, 5+ years of experience in a role and providing insights and recommendations based on analysis.
  • Relevant years of experience in CMI/consumer research including in the US. Undergraduate degree required.
  • Effective storyteller and dot connector - excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including storytelling in a corporate context, and crafting clear, compelling messages
