The Role Mapletree is seeking to hire an Associate to support its New York Logistics Development team. Job Responsibilities Build, manage and lead the development of our single-phase, multi-phase and complex fund level models utilizing both Microsoft Excel and Argus to evaluate prospective and existing development opportunities. Prepare Investment memos for individual development opportunities and PPM document and presentation materials required for development funds Monitor financial performance and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of development projects Other special projects as needed. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university. Coursework in Finance, Economics, and (Real Estate preferred) or its equivalent. 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in commercial real estate (industrial preferred) with financial analysis and modeling training in a real estate development, acquisitions / Investment management, capital markets or investment banking environment. Excellent real estate financial modeling skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Argus Basic understanding of real estate, acquisitions, development and lease structures Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize Strong problem-solving skills Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Compensation Data The annual base compensation range for this role sits between: $125,000 - $135,000 This range is representative of the starting base salaries for this role at Mapletree. Compensation offers are based on a wide range of factors including previous work experience, specific industry experience, relevant skills, training and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location. In addition to salary and a competitive employee benefits package, candidates may also be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university. Coursework in Finance, Economics, and (Real Estate preferred) or its equivalent.
