Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. seeks an Associate, Java Developer in New York, New York. The role involves the design and implementation of new clearing, affirmation, and novation trading flows for production. Responsibilities include communicating with external vendors (clearing houses) to track any changes that may affect services, timely code and hardware upgrades as required by external vendor changes including data center migrations and API updates, overseeing testing of vendor new software releases, and setting up and maintaining team resources including but not limited to CPS, UNIX servers, Firewalls, Splunk, and CronJobs. The position also requires meeting with TriClear stakeholders to gather and analyze project requirements, providing support to TriClear users for clearing, affirmation, and novation flows, and implementing bug fixes and code improvements across code bases.
