About The Position
Seeking an Associate IT Technologist to support system configuration, technical documentation, and solution development in alignment with business and operational requirements. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system functionality, performance, and compliance within established architecture and security standards.
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelorâs degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0â2 years of experience in IT, systems support, or related field
- Familiarity with SDLC methodologies (Waterfall or similar)
- Ability to document technical specifications based on business requirements
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Bilingual communication (English/Spanish)
- Experience collaborating with business and technical teams
- Understanding of SDLC (Waterfall or equivalent)
- Technical documentation and requirements gathering
- Willing to work 100% on-Site in Villalba, PR, other shifts and weekend when needed.
Nice To Haves
- Microsoft Windows environment support
- DLL installation, registration, and troubleshooting
- Basic networking knowledge (VLANs, IP configuration, firewall rules)
- Exposure to system integration or platform-based solutions
- Experience supporting system testing or validation activities
- Understanding of IT infrastructure and system performance optimization
Responsibilities
- Develop, document, and configure system specifications aligned with architecture and business requirements
- Support system planning, deployment, and compliance with hardware/software and security standards
- Evaluate interfaces between hardware and software, ensuring system performance and compatibility
- Identify system deficiencies and implement solutions to improve functionality, data integrity, and performance
- Execute system testing, validation, and troubleshooting activities
- Document system updates, configurations, and maintenance procedures
- Collaborate with process owners and technical teams to define requirements and test strategies
- Act as liaison between technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders when needed
- Gather and prioritize system integration requirements
- Perform basic system maintenance and performance optimization
- Support development of user-focused technology solutions and improve system usability
