Perform detailed cleaning and sanitizing of intricate and high-risk food manufacturing equipment, including fillers, conveyors, mixers, and packaging machinery. Use approved cleaning agents, tools, and sanitation chemicals in accordance with label directions, safety data sheets (SDS), and company guidelines. Follow master sanitation schedules (MSS) and verify all required documentation and checklists are completed accurately. Inspect equipment and surrounding areas for residue, buildup, or contamination before and after cleaning. Work collaboratively with Maintenance and Quality teams to identify and resolve issues such as product buildup, leaks, or potential contamination risks. Use, maintain, and store sanitation tools and chemicals in an organized, safe manner according to plant procedures. Understanding and adherence strictly to personal protective equipment (PPE) and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures when working with energized or hazardous systems. Support continuous improvement efforts by recommending better cleaning methods, tools, or processes to enhance efficiency and safety. Participate in pre-op inspections and corrective actions as directed by Quality, Maintenance or Operations leadership. Work with Operations to implement and maintain 5S and other Lean Manufacturing Activities as required. Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety standards (SQF standards), and company policies at all times. Other duties as directed by leadership
