About The Position

Store Maintenance is committed to maintaining our stores to reflect the quality standards associated with our brands. We dedicate ourselves to corporate and regulatory compliance, as well as ensuring proper operation of all aspects of the physical space to create an optimal, safe and cost-effective environment for our customers and associates. As an Associate HVAC Specialist, you will be the main point of contact for and manage HVAC maintenance related activities and vendors for an assigned region of stores.

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Fields
  • HVAC repair, installation or maintenance experience
  • Strong HVAC background (i.e. certifications, refrigeration, project management, etc.)
  • Strong computer skills; knowledge of and proficiency in common office applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • MEP Construction drawing review skills
  • Ability to read, interpret, utilize and train on manuals and schematics
  • Time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both vocal and written
  • Excellent customer relationship skills
  • Energetic, self motivated, ambitious, inquisitive and attention to detail
  • A collaborative approach to working with cross-functional partners to achieve company goals and objectives

Responsibilities

  • Manage HVAC service partners to maximize quality of service to A&F Standards, minimize resolution time and maintain sustainable systems
  • Follow up on work orders to ensure work is completed satisfactorily and timely to minimize downtime.
  • Email and respond to 50-75 per day
  • Keep work orders up to date with proper completion information as well as dates
  • Cultivate HVAC service provider relationships through effective communication across multiple vendors in different countries
  • Resolve high level invoicing or quoting disputes with HVAC vendor contacts
  • View and troubleshoot HVAC equipment controls remotely with technicians to confirm proper equipment functionality
  • Audit and approve/reject pricing received from HVAC service providers
