About The Position

As an HVAC Support Specialist, you will provide Application & Technical Support and Customer Service including complex and commercial quotes and fulfillment orders for HVAC unitary and Ductless mini-split equipment and accessories. Answer calls from contractors and branch associates surrounding questions on installation, operation, troubleshooting, and service for all unitary and ductless HVAC equipment brands company-wide Provide application solution and product selection support Prepare and maintain quotes and orders for complex residential and commercial equipment, including larger tonnage and three phase units Review plans/specs and properly size commercial equipment Work with branch teams to coordinate equipment availability and delivery Conduct various levels and types of HVAC Product & Technical trainings, including technical training programs involving ARS HVAC products, installation, troubleshooting and other service throughout the region Trains on safety, installation, programming, maintenance, and repair of ARS HVAC products, and equipment directly related to diverse applications. Perform a variety of tasks, during occasional non-training periods including, but not limited to, field inspections, technical site visits and fielding phone calls from various sources. Interact with internal department leaders and staff as necessary, such as Marketing, IT, Product Development, or the Sales Teams as necessary to jointly support business operations and departments. Document weekly responsibilities through required training reports, expense reports, emails, and phone calls. Submit required documents, reports, or information within the required timeframes set forth by the company. Ensuring training objectives are met, including product or audience specific trainings Maintain record of customer service work in designated application Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma is required. Certifications or Degree preferred.
  • Employee must pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to communicate well with others
  • Strong Customer Service skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Strong computer knowledge
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated
  • Willing to learn technical aspects of HVAC products
  • A minimum of 5 years of HVAC industry experience and at least 2 years outside sales, counter sales or contractor experience.
