About The Position

We’re looking for an Associate HR Generalist who is curious, detail-obsessed, tech-savvy, and genuinely excited by variety. This role spans HR Operations, Benefits, Employee Relations, Internal Communications, and coordination of FMLA/ADA with an external vendor, with meaningful exposure to systems, projects, and company-wide initiatives. This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment. There’s a lot going on, and that’s exactly what makes it fun for the right person. If you enjoy learning new things, figuring systems out, and jumping between tasks while still getting the details right, you’ll thrive here. If you’re uncomfortable with technology, struggle to learn new systems quickly, or prefer slow, predictable workdays, this will not be the right fit.

Requirements

  • Strong technical aptitude and comfort learning new systems quickly
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Canva for design and visual content
  • Comfortable working in Excel or confident in your ability to learn it quickly
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and stay organized in a fast-moving environment
  • Curiosity, initiative, and a genuine desire to learn

Nice To Haves

  • Prior HR experience (internship, coordinator, generalist, or similar)
  • Exposure to benefits administration, leave management, or HR operations
  • Experience creating internal communications or presentations
  • Video editing experience (does not need to be something that has been done on a professional-level)

Responsibilities

  • HR Operations & Employee Relations Support core HR operational processes including onboarding, employee changes, documentation, and compliance tracking
  • Serve as a knowledgeable, responsive point of contact for employee HR questions
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity across HR systems
  • Assist with audits, reporting, and process documentation
  • Benefits, FMLA & ADA Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee education
  • Assist with FMLA, ADA, and leave processes, tracking documentation, deadlines, and communications with a high level of confidentiality and accuracy
  • Coordinate closely with a third-party leave administrator to ensure timely, accurate handling of cases
  • Partner closely with managers and employees to ensure smooth execution
  • Internal Communications Create clear, engaging internal communications related to HR programs, benefits, wellness initiatives, and company updates
  • Design materials using Canva (flyers, presentations, one-pagers, graphics, etc.)
  • Assist with light video creation/editing for internal communications, presentations, or events
  • Help ensure communications are polished, on-brand, and easy for employees to understand
  • Events, Presentations & Programs Support planning and execution of company events, wellness initiatives, and HR-led programs
  • Help prepare presentations, visuals, and materials for leadership meetings, employee sessions, and company events
  • Be hands-on and willing to jump in where needed, this is a very collaborative team
