Serve as the University's primary litigation associate. Coordinate the University's litigation and investigation efforts including the developing, implementing and monitoring of appropriate disclosures, policies, procedures and practices designed to comply with federal and state legislation, regulation. Support Title IX, VI, VII and II investigations. Manage University's relationship with outside counsel. Review, draft and update University policies and procedures. Manage litigation conducted by outside counsel on matters in state court, federal court, administrative agencies and internal employee disciplinary matters. Review and draft pleadings which are filed by outside counsel including complaints, answers to complaints, affirmative defenses, and dispositive motions. Review and analyze pending cases for litigation strategy and disposition. Support all functions of the Office of Labor and Legal Affairs.
