About The Position

The Associate Field Manager reports to and works closely with the Field Manager and Associate Field Director. They are responsible for general training, brand partner and retail execution, growth and accountability of Account Managers and Territory Sales Managers within their market. Responsible for ensuring relationships at store level for the region are strong and continuously growing. Leaders within the company must have a desire and ability to engage, drive results, coach and develop the field-level roles. Successful candidates will lead humbly and must embody a servant leadership mindset. The Role: Team Management Responsible for creating strong team relationships to uphold Dirty Hands’ mission and values. Supports with hiring, onboarding, training, and scheduling. Supports with Performance Management, Annual Reviews, and providing consistent feedback to the team. Maintains energy / team morale levels through company communication platforms. Facilitates field-level ride-alongs regularly. Develops personal growth goals, provides direction, and objective coaching as needed for Field Reps. Field Execution and Reporting Tracks store visits, execution and audits Field Reps execution progress through CRM system. Supports and hosts regular team calls, one on ones to set goals and review brand updates. Sets, tracks, and gives feedback on brand specific goals by account to the leadership team. Facilitates field-level ride-alongs with Brand Partners throughout regional accounts. Responsible for visitation and mission completion of a small group of stores. Communication Daily communication and engagement with team to ensure execution of team goals. Communication liaison between Brand Management team and Field teams. Responsible for team engagement and motivation by using different tools such as videoconferencing, email and other communication platforms, as well as in-person communication. Requirements

  • 2+ years of Merchandising / Sales experience.
  • 2+ years of Natural Food Industry experience preferred.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to motivate a team to ensure a high level of engagement.
  • Proficient with Basic Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel) and Google Suite.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, proof of current auto insurance and be able to drive a car for extended periods of time.
  • Must have reliable form of transportation.
  • Capable of meeting the physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to, standing, bending, squatting, reaching, repetitive motion and lifting 40-50 pounds.
  • Must be willing and able to work in extremely cold environmental conditions (i.e. refrigerated and freezer sections of retail stores).
  • Ability to make weekly store visits with team 3-4 days per week.
  • Overnight travel could be up to 25% depending on team needs but can be higher during certain launch periods.
