About The Position

Golden State Foods is seeking an Associate Executive Recruiter with a deep passion for sourcing, attracting, and securing top-tier talent for senior-level positions for our transportation and logistics business - (Quality Custom Distribution - QCD). This role plays a pivotal part in shaping the future leadership of our organization by bringing in exceptional leaders to propel our business forward. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in salaried / exempt recruitment, outstanding relationship-building abilities, and understand the need to act with a sense of urgency. While the primary focus is on exempt roles, this position is perfect for a collaborative team player who is ready to assist with recruitment efforts at all levels as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related discipline preferred.
• 5+ years in high touch salaried recruitment
• Internal corporate hiring recruitment experience required;
• Extensive experience recruiting exempt roles
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
• High level of discretion and professionalism
• Ability to act with a sense of urgency to ensure an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience
• Ability to act in accordance with GSF's Values and Creed

Nice To Haves

• Agency recruitment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and negotiating offers for exempt level roles.
• Partner with senior leadership and HR teams to understand the hiring needs and assist in developing tailored recruitment strategies.
• Build and maintain a strong network of relevant talent across the foodservice, logistics and related industries.
• Manage relationships with external search firms and recruitment partners when necessary.
• Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
• Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing insights on market trends, compensation, and best practices in recruitment.
