About The Position

The YMCA of Central Texas is seeking a Full-Time, experienced and motivated individual to join our team of professionals as an Associate Executive Director of Facilities- West for our Twin Lakes Branch and Sky Trail in Cedar Park, TX. The Associate Executive Director of Facilities will oversee the general maintenance of the Twin Lakes Family YMCA, RCI Sky Trail opening and operations, and management of maintenance and custodial staff, to ensure good member experience and a pristine facility. Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5+ Years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2-3 years’ experience in maintenance, construction, emergency repairs and/or roofing, or equivalent combination of work experience and education preferred
  • Working knowledge of new construction, remodel projects, roofing systems/repairs, and other related upkeep
  • Experience working on electrical, plumbing, and carpentry projects
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • CPO Certification preferred
  • Must pass reference checks, pre-employment drug screen, background check and sex offender registry check

Responsibilities

  • Repair and maintain Branch interior, exterior, and equipment
  • supervise maintenance tasks for prompt and accurate completion
  • coordinate work by 3rd party maintenance services personnel, as directed by the Vice President of Operations- West
  • Perform limited plumbing, electrical, equipment and structural repairs on Community buildings, or special projects, as needed
  • Oversee the Aquatic Center and ensure it is in working order i.e. plumbing, HVAC, lighting, cleaning, identify and make/schedule all necessary repairs
  • Supervise all employees in Custodial and Maintenance departments and outside cleaning service
  • Provide support for District special events by pre-event set up and tear down
  • Hands on support of RCI Sky Trail opening and campus operations through safety and quality checks, coordinating inspections, and budget management as needed
