Requirements

BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related)
Understanding of manufacturing processes and materials
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Must meet ITAR U.S. Person requirements – Prototek maintains International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) compliant operations in United States based facilities. This position is subject to ITAR which requires U.S. Person status. ITAR defines U.S. Person as U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, or foreign nationals granted refugee or asylee status.

Responsibilities

Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase capacity and efficiency
Utilize CAD (SolidWorks) and GD&T to support production and quoting
Assist with cost analysis and estimating improvements
Support Quality initiatives to ensure compliance with customer requirements
Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve technical challenges
