As an Associate Engineer, Prototype Builds, you will be part of Prototype Builds Team - leading the execution of activities to secure the delivery of prototype test objects in support of product testing.

Requirements

  • M.S. degree strongly preferred in one of the following fields: Data Science, Engineering Physics, Computer Science, Automation, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Economy, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial Design Engineering, Mechatronics, Control Systems or similar
  • Graduate(d) between December 2024 and May 2026
  • Maximum of two years' working experience prior to or after graduation
  • Fluent in English and have an international mind-set

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and highlight project changes and/or scope creep that will affect the budget (hours, material, bought services, etc.) connected to each rebuild respectively
  • Lead the detailed variant definition & BoM completeness for each test object to deliver a well-representative test object
  • Based on engineering input initiate Bill of Material (BoM) check/review together with stakeholders
  • Document the impacts for decision-making, approve within the system, plan, and execute MR (Modification Request)
  • Secure necessary build instructions and - if needed - PD/Engineering support
  • Lead and monitor build at workshop until test object sign-off
