Associate Engineer, Process
About The Position
Venture Global LNG ("Venture Global") is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company's Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture Global's modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost. We are seeking an Associate/Graduate Process Engineer to join our team in Cameron, Louisiana. This incumbent will report to the Process Engineer and will be supporting Operations. This role will be part of the team responsible for ensuring plant process operations remain program compliant and with safe, reliable and cost- effective methodologies. The successful candidate shall be a technical generalist, preferably with good working knowledge of gas processing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Process Engineering.
- One (1) to four (4) years' experience working as an Engineer in a process plant environment would be a plus.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 Application Suite
- Familiarity with ASME, API and NACE/AMPP recommended practices
Responsibilities
- Stay current with technology developments regarding Process management
- Support additional initiatives as needed (e.g., pipelines, marine facility)
- Support with the Management of Change (MOC) process
- Support Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) process
- Support development and tracking of appropriate Key Performance Indicators
- Provide day-to-day troubleshooting support to Operations Groups
