This team specializes in delivering Data Centers facility planning, design, engineering, construction, technology, and energy services to our valued clients. As part of BV Operations, your skills will be aligned to projects that support our Data Center team. The foundation of BV Operations provides the ability to move where your skills are needed and allows for a collaborative and innovative culture offering greater challenges and career development opportunities. The Opportunity As an Associate Electrical Engineer - Data Centers (Mission Critical), you will have the opportunity to: <li>Develop Electrical design for Data Center projects. Develop a variety of complex engineering deliverables including one-line diagrams, schematics, power and lighting plans, electrical installation details, and technical specifications. Act as an Owner's Rep and support various engineering activities including design reviews, creation & review of MOP/EOPs, support of site operations, etc. Prepare technical documents such as reports and/or design calculations. Perform site condition assessments. Coordinate with regional and global design teams Continuous learning and development of technical expertise/specialty area Conduct project studies - Power System Coordination and Arc Flash Hazard Analysis, and Electrical Reliability Analysis. Construction inspection and resolution of electrical construction issues Occasional travel for site visits (up to 10% travel) This role will support projects primarily for North America. This opportunity is located in Chicago, IL.
