The Associate Editorial Content Director serves as a primary editorial and content strategist, and an integral part of the Alloy PR team. In this role, the Associate Director collaborates on the strategic annual and quarterly planning and execution of the client’s PR strategy, with a focus on content strategy and creation. This includes planning and developing compelling content to support the client’s strategic marketing objectives and business goals, while mapping content to the client’s overarching narrative. Reporting to the VP of PR, the Associate Director is a strong collaborator, working closely with other members of the PR team, as well as client partners, project managers and other content creators, and other department strategists (e.g. SEO, paid, digital) to ensure the highest quality and effectiveness of content that is created. The ideal candidate brings extensive agency experience and a demonstrated ability to bridge a creative, storytelling approach with data-driven results. Beyond simply writing, you develop compelling content that drives search engine results, secures significant media coverage, and thrives within the landscape of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).
