About The Position

Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily.
Minimum requirement; general educational background without high school completion, plus 0 to 6 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Accepts donations by providing assistance to contributors and issuing donation receipts.
Maintains a professional and courteous attitude at all times, willing to be flexible and assume new job responsibilities as needed.
Treats every customer and contributor as if they were a GUEST in their home. GUEST stands for Greet, Understand, Explain, Suggest and Thank.
Sort donations by established categories and safely pack for transport.
Uses hand truck to move materials around donation center and/or moves materials within the store as needed.
Accepts donations of good quality and politely refuses unacceptable items.
Assist drivers with the loading and unloading of transportation vehicles.
Maintains a clean and safe environment.
Maintain daily and weekly electronics records as required.
Assist retail locations by hanging textiles during downtime after donations have been processed.
Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
