Associate Distinguished Engineer - Salesforce Architect (Public Sector Solutions)
About The Position
Role Overview The Salesforce Architect – Public Sector Solutions will be responsible for designing, governing, and delivering scalable Salesforce solutions for government and public sector organizations. This role requires deep expertise in Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS), compliance-driven architectures, and complex enterprise integrations while ensuring security, scalability, and long-term sustainability. The architect will work closely with government stakeholders, business analysts, delivery teams, and platform owners to translate policy, regulatory, and service requirements into robust Salesforce solutions.
Requirements
- Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (mandatory)
- Service Cloud, Experience Cloud
- OmniStudio (Vlocity)
- Apex, LWC, SOQL
- Flow & declarative automation
- Salesforce security model
- 5+ years working with Government / Public Sector clients
- Strong understanding of public sector processes, compliance, and governance
- Experience delivering citizen-facing and case-centric solutions
- REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events
- Middleware (MuleSoft preferred)
- Data modeling and large-scale data migrations
- Cloud architecture and enterprise integration patterns
Nice To Haves
- Experience with FedRAMP-authorized environments
- Exposure to Grants Management or Health & Human Services implementations
- Experience with Accessibility (WCAG 2.1) compliance
- Knowledge of Agile / SAFe delivery models
