The Associate Director, Warehouse Operations oversees end-to-end execution of inbound logistics, returns sustainability, and Woodward warehouse operations across multiple Austin and Buda locations. This role is responsible for building scalable, safe, and disciplined warehouse networks capable of receiving up to 50 inbound loads per day while maintaining high standards of product care, inventory accuracy, and operational readiness.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive warehouse or distribution operations experience, including multi-site leadership
  • Proven success managing high-volume inbound operations
  • Strong people leadership skills with experience managing managers

  • Experience leading returns, reverse logistics, or sustainability programs preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to standardize processes across multiple facilities

Responsibilities

  • Lead inbound receiving operations across multiple Austin and Buda warehouses, managing up to 50 inbound container and trailer loads per day
  • Oversee all unloading, receiving, staging, and putaway processes with a focus on safety, throughput, inventory accuracy, and labor efficiency
  • Partner with transportation, planning, and inventory teams to balance daily inbound volume against capacity and labor availability
  • Standardize inbound SOPs across all locations while accommodating site-specific constraints
  • Monitor and improve KPIs including overtime, productivity, recordable incident rate, and contract labor cost
  • Lead the newly established Returns Sustainability facility, ensuring disciplined, repeatable, and scalable operations
  • Manage the receipt and processing of approximately two returns trailers per week, including receiving, grading, disposition, and system updates
  • Oversee scrap dismantling processes to ensure materials are properly separated and recycled in line with sustainability goals
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce waste and support Four Hands’ environmental objectives
  • Maintain safe material handling practices and ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations
  • Provide oversight for Woodward operations, supporting trade show preparation, photography readiness, and sample handling
  • Ensure Woodward operates as a showcase facility that reflects Four Hands’ brand standards and executive-level expectations
  • Support and coach the Manager, Operations at Woodward through clear direction, prioritization, and performance management
  • Other duties as assigned, in accordance with training and qualifications
