About The Position

Florida Atlantic University is seeking an Associate Director, Transfer & Online Partnerships. - Boca Raton, FL. This position plays a critical role in strengthening and expanding transfer pathways to support institutional enrollment growth, with a particular focus on online and statewide program alignment.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and six years of appropriate experience; or a master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience required.
  • Ability to organize and analyze data and prepare reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to build internal and external partnerships and represent an institution professionally.
  • Local, and regional travel is an integral part of this position.
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle, qualify for car rental, and valid Florida driver’s license are required.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the revitalization of existing articulation agreements with Florida State Colleges to strengthen enrollment pipelines, especially in online programs.
  • Identify and develop new articulation agreements to create additional 2+2 and 2+3 transfer and online program alignments with partner institutions.
  • Track the lifecycle of articulation agreements to ensure they remain active, visible, and implemented.
  • Conduct regular review and revision of established articulation agreements to ensure continued alignment with institutional and statewide transfer policies, following guidance from FAU’s Office of the Provost.
  • Expand partnerships beyond FAU’s traditional feeder state colleges in the region to support enrollment growth from new markets across the entire state.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the academic advisors, faculty leaders, and administrators at partner institutions.
  • Serve as FAU’s primary liaison to partner institutions on articulation agreements, transfer and online program alignment, and course equivalency alignment.
  • In collaboration with FAU academic units and marketing, develop clear and effective transfer guides for all majors, ensuring articulation agreements are incorporated as appropriate.
  • Review FAU curriculum and partner-institution curriculum for transfer applicability, course equivalency, and alignment with statewide articulation standards.
  • Monitor state and federal regulations that affect transfer articulation policies and agreement development.
  • Coordinates meetings with academic units and partner institutions to develop, review, and finalize articulation agreements; tracks progress, facilitates communication among stakeholders, and ensures timely completion and implementation.
  • Compile and analyze articulation-related data, including course equivalencies, pathway utilization, and student flow patterns, to guide agreement development and pathway refinement.
  • Prepare reports tracking articulation agreements, pipeline strength, and enrollment outcomes.
  • Work in coordination with internal offices, including the Registrar’s Office, to manage articulation and course equivalency information within institutional systems (e.g., TES, Banner, or other transfer equivalency platforms), ensuring data accuracy, version control, and appropriate public access.
  • Support Office of Undergraduate Admissions recruitment efforts, including information sessions, tabling, classroom visits, and creative outreach strategies; occasional travel throughout the state required.
  • Participate in university committees related to transfer and online enrollment strategy and policy.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
