About The Position

At Leading Educators, we believe that excellent teaching transforms student outcomes. Behind every exceptional educator is a well coordinated team, thoughtfully allocated resources, and systems that ensure the right people are in the right roles at the right time. The Associate Director of Talent and Workforce Operations is a professional with deep roots in the K12 education sector or education focused nonprofit organizations and brings meaningful experience managing workforce planning, staffing allocation systems, and talent operations in mission driven environments. This leader understands the complexity of supporting a mission driven organization that serves schools and educators and knows that strong internal systems are essential for enabling our staff to deliver high quality partnership and meaningful impact for students. With this perspective, the Associate Director leads the operational systems that help ensure our teams are staffed effectively, resources are allocated thoughtfully, and leaders have the information they need to make smart hiring and workforce decisions. In this role, you will lead the operational infrastructure that powers workforce planning and staff allocation across the organization. You will maintain workforce planning systems, monitor staffing capacity across teams and projects, and translate allocation data into insights that help leaders align talent with priorities and plan for future staffing needs. Workforce planning is closely connected to how and when the organization hires. The Associate Director partners closely with the People Team and organizational leaders to translate staffing needs into hiring priorities, ensuring that workforce planning insights directly inform recruiting strategy and hiring decisions. This role prepares and facilitates allocation meetings with leadership, maintains workforce planning dashboards, and monitors shifts in staffing capacity as projects evolve. The Associate Director also serves as the primary owner of workforce planning and resource capacity tools and technology, ensuring these systems remain accurate, well maintained, and useful for leadership decision making. The Associate Director also leads onboarding integration and internal transition planning, ensuring that new hires and employees stepping into new roles are successfully integrated into their teams and responsibilities. By connecting workforce planning, hiring readiness, onboarding systems, and internal transitions, this role helps ensure Leading Educators can deploy talent strategically and continue advancing our mission to support educators and the students they serve.
