The Tam Institute for Jewish Studies (TIJS) at Emory University, established in 1999 to bring together students and scholars in the interdisciplinary exploration of Jewish civilization and culture, is the largest Jewish Studies program in the southern United States. Works closely with Director and faculty of the Tam Institute for Jewish Studies (TIJS), an interdisciplinary academic and programming unit of the Emory College of Arts and Sciences, to develop, design, and implement initiatives and activities to further program’s mission in the areas of teaching, scholarship, and community engagement, and to strengthen ties between the program and its constituents.
