About The Position

Vicarious Surgical is hiring a Program Manager to join our team in Waltham, MA. In this role, you will provide essential support to our cross-functional engineering teams as we work towards bringing our product to market. As a Program Manager, you will assist with scheduling, documentation, tracking, and communication to help ensure projects stay on track. You’ll report to the CEO and work closely with project managers, tech leads, engineers, and other team members to coordinate activities and maintain alignment across the organization. The Associate Director, Program Management is responsible for leading the Program Timeline through cross-functional teams, to achieve project goals and requirements. Work with project teams and stakeholders to plan, execute, monitor, and control the project. Manage resources, budget, cost, time, quality, risks, and other constraints. The Associate Director, Program Management is accountable for the overall execution and delivery of complex projects and systems. This includes responsibility for scope, schedule, budget, project risk management, adequate resourcing, and leadership of the project team. The Associate Director, Program Management is also responsible for the communication within the team and for providing external communication and updates to executive and cross-functional management. The Associate Director, Program Management is adept at influence management and conflict resolution, building team alignment, holding team members accountable, and providing effective solutions to both the team and the wider organization. This role reports directly to the CEO.

Requirements

Minimum of B.S. in an Engineering discipline
Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience
Strong organizational skills with experience managing schedules, documentation, and project deliverables.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.
Proficiency with Project management tools (MS Project, SmartSheet) Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Collaborative, flexible, and able to adapt to shifting priorities.

Nice To Haves

PMP certification preferred
Medical device experience preferred

Responsibilities

Acts as a guide to individuals and teams and may become actively involved, as required, to meet schedules and resolve problems.
