Acadia Pharmaceuticals is seeking an experienced and strategic communications leader to drive product communications for our marketed therapies, Nuplazid® and Daybue®. In this highly visible role, you will shape and execute communication strategies that elevate awareness, understanding, and credibility of Acadia’s life changing medicines across neurology and rare disease. You will lead day to day product communications efforts, translating complex scientific and clinical data into clear, compelling narratives for external audiences including media, healthcare professionals, patients, and other key stakeholders. Nuplazid® (pimavanserin) is the first FDA approved treatment for hallucinations and delusions associated with Parkinson’s disease psychosis, and Daybue® (trofinetide) is the first and only FDA approved therapy for Rett syndrome. By telling the stories behind these groundbreaking therapies, you will help advance Acadia’s mission to improve the lives of patients and families facing serious neurological conditions. Reporting to the Executive Director of Corporate Communications, you will partner closely with Commercial, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Legal, and other cross functional teams to ensure all product communications are accurate, compliant, and aligned with business objectives. You will serve as a key contact for product related media relations, lead communications around data milestones and announcements, collaborate with external agencies, and contribute to broader corporate and therapeutic area communication strategies. The ideal candidate is a strong writer and strategic thinker who thrives in a fast paced, highly regulated environment and excels at building trust with internal stakeholders and external partners. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by amplifying the voice of innovative therapies that address significant unmet needs.
