About The Position

This position will report to the Sr. Director, Performance and Analytics and will lead the governance, maintenance, and strategic management of data used in RFPs, DDQs, consultant/intermediaries asks, and related business development materials. This position will initially operate as an individual contributor, with responsibility for coordinating and guiding the work of a team of contractors who support RFP data maintenance and related processes. Over time, the role may evolve to include direct management of 1–2 team members as the function grows. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in RFP operations, data governance, process improvement, and cross-functional execution within asset management, investment consulting, or financial services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 7 to 10 years’ relevant experience, prior management experience preferred.
  • Experience working in asset management, investment consulting, financial services, or another highly regulated and data-intensive environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex datasets and content across multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Excel modeling (sort, search, link, pivot tables, formatting, formulas, macros, VB, etc.)
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; ability to handle multiple assignments while managing strict and competing deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge/experience with composite maintenance software and performance systems a plus
  • Experience with private market investments is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own the integrity, consistency, and usability of data used in RFPs, DDQs, consultant database submissions, and related marketing materials.
  • Establish and maintain data governance standards, definitions, ownership models, and review protocols.
  • Partner with subject matter experts across Global Investment Services, Global Investment Research, Operations and Global Client Services teams to gather and validate content.
  • Maintain centralized repositories of approved quantitative and qualitative data, ensuring version control and auditability.
  • Monitor data quality and resolve inconsistencies, gaps, and outdated information in a timely manner.
  • Establish and follow Error Correction policies and guidelines
  • Develop service standards, controls, and escalation procedures to support timely and accurate deliverables.
  • Liaise with the Data Office on data ownership and governance
  • Provide day-to-day direction and oversight to contractors supporting RFP data operations.
  • Set clear priorities, monitor deliverables, and maintain high standards for quality and responsiveness.
