We work with the top publishers, manufacturers and licensees globally to bring exciting products to our fandoms. We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, process-driven individual to join the WEBTOON Consumer Goods team as Associate Director, Partners and Licensing. Reporting to the Head of Consumer Goods , you will be responsible for a broad portfolio of publishing and licensee relationships, while also contributing to the growth of the business by strategizing and exploring new licensing opportunities that align with WEBTOON’s unique value proposition. This is an impactful role that will create opportunities for our creators globally and contribute to the overall success of WEBTOON Entertainment Inc.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of licensing experience, including foreign publishing rights, with progressive growth within the industry.
• Highly accountable and results driven; able to take appropriate steps to achieve goals while taking ownership of situations as needed.
• The ability to work efficiently and independently.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the aptitude to communicate effectively in both individual and group settings regardless of audience.
• Proven ability to build supportive and constructive relationships within and outside of the organization; takes the lead in inspiring others to work together for mutual benefit.
• Meticulous organizational and follow up skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Developing a pipeline of opportunity IP from our WEBTOON and Wattpad platforms and setting revenue targets for each.
• Identifying key licensing targets and strategizing pitches across multiple categories and territories, including North America.
• Negotiating and managing licensing contracts, collaborating with legal to ensure timely deal close.
• Creating annual sales budget and tracking monthly sales forecasts; communicating changes to the plan early and often.
• Mentoring and guiding Associate Manager, Partners + Licensing
• Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with international partners to ensure long-term collaboration and growth.
• Attend events on behalf of the company as assigned.
