TMG is seeking an experienced Associate Director of Operations to oversee strategic and day‑to‑day operations across multiple regions. This role provides leadership to regional Operations Managers, ensures exceptional client service delivery, and drives operational excellence across all assigned sites. The Associate Director also serves as the acting Director of Operations during absences and participates in senior leadership initiatives that shape organizational strategy and performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business management or related field and 5+ years of operational experience OR Master's degree and 3+ years of operational experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience supporting client SOWs in areas such as: Print & Imaging Mail Services Office Services Facilities Management Shipping & Receiving
  • Certification in Facilities Management or Office/Print Services (required).
  • Proven experience managing multi‑site operations and leading operational teams.
  • Strong communication, relationship‑building, and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, analyze operational data, and drive performance improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, support, and develop Operations Managers across assigned regions.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with business leaders through timely and tailored communication.
  • Ensure high‑quality, cost‑effective customer support and service delivery.
  • Maintain and exceed SLA performance, equipment standards, and operational goals.
  • Monitor operating costs, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
  • Manage budgets and control expenses across multiple sites.
  • Hire, train, coach, and evaluate staff; administer corrective action when needed.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and stay current on industry technology and trends.
  • Travel daily between NYC and NJ locations as required.
