About The Position

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (UTK) invites applications and nominations for our Associate Director of Integrated System position. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience. This is an on-campus position with some hybrid/remote work schedule flexibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree- 3+ year of experience working in CRM and SIS management in a university environment
• Knowledge of HTML, SQL, XML, or other similar formats.
• Advanced skills in a variety of computer applications and reporting tools.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to end users, business stakeholders and management both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to prioritize and organize tasks to meet deadlines and follow through on assignments with minimal direction, often under pressure.
• Excellent analytical, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to exercise sound judgment, discretion, and tact with all levels of constituents.
• Skills of working independently in a changing environment with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability creating reports (MS Access and Excel).
• Ability to work with large data sets, verifying and checking data thoroughly for accuracy and completeness, and importing and exporting files between software programs.
• Knowledge of Banner.
• Knowledge of recruitment/enrollment process.
• Ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities at one time
• Demonstrated ability to lead in a team environment, excellent oral, written and interpersonal problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree- Proven success in evaluation and improvement in Undergraduate Admissions CRM efficiencies and automation of routines
• Experience within Slate and Banner (SIS) or Oracle
• Experience utilizing SQL
• Experience in workflow and automation software
• Self-motivation, team attitude and commitment to high standard of excellence
• Experience working in CRM and SIS management at a large university

Responsibilities

• Providing leadership and supervision related to components of the undergraduate admissions and enrollment managements systems.
• Managing and maintaining the units Customer Relation Management (CRM) system (currently Slate).
• Identifying new efficiencies that directly impact service to students.
• Providing strategic vision and guidance towards the Enrollment Management Division’s technological and application system plans.
• Ensuring up to date documentation of policies and procedures related to the data integration and imaging processes.
• Supervising a team that is responsible for all incoming documents, data and information used within the application process for undergraduate students.
• Evaluating the system, optimizing, and ensuring data integrity.
• Using best practices to ensure the UT Undergraduate Admissions is continually innovating and providing a high level of service and communication.
